It’s the death Mask for the Pharaoh Tut Ankh Amun from the eighteenth family in the Ancient Egypt (rule between 1332-1323)B.C. The Mask is one of the most famous artwork all over the world. The Mask is made from the hammered gold which weighs likg. The Mask represents a royal cap that has aborrowed beard, anecklace of three branches and a collar on the chest, a cobra snake for protection, and there are two holes in the ears to fix the earring. They used metal sheets were formed by heating and hammering and then quartez stones and obsidian mineral were used in the formation of the eyes and lapis lazuli at the formation of eyebrows and eye lids. The chest is also decorated with necklace made of semi-precious stones and colored glass which is ending with the heads of a falcon. he added that the beard was separated from the Mask when the tomb was discovered in 1925 in the valley of the kings in luxor by the british archaeologist Howard Carter
The Mask is currently in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
